Hand in Hand for Haiti is a 501(C) (3) non-profit organization housed in the United States. "

The organization is being developed along the principles of strict governance, absolute transparency and strong financial discipline, with 100% of the funds raised going toward rebuilding projects in Haiti.

Building the School
Cuilding the school
  1. Design and construction of the school complex
  2. Employment of local and foreign teachers as well as support staff
  3. School supplies: furniture, books, computers, etc
  4. Meal program supplying two nutritious meals a day, including during holiday breaks
  • Hand in Hand for Haiti (HIHH) was incorporated in California as a public-benefit corporation on January 29th, 2010
  • HIHH received the tax-exemption status under section 501 (c) (3) of the IRS code, as a public charity, on April 8th, 2010. The status is retroactive to January 29th, 2010
  • On May 7th, 2010, we formed Hand in Hand for Haiti Foundation, in Haiti, governed by Haitian law. Hand in Hand for Haiti Foundation will be the acting entity to operate the school.
  • In accordance with Haitian law governing foundations, Hand in Hand for Haiti Foundation will be able to apply for public benefit status after one year of operation and will become a tax-exempt entity if the status is approved
